I see the weights and have my totals but not sure how to determine the max weight a character can carry. Also, still used to lbs. so going slow with grams and Kilograms. It's hard to unlearn something ingrained for years.

i know what you mean but in reverse, I use metric in real life so when I play D&D it takes ages for me to adjust.
In the HUB rules, there aren't actually any rules regarding encumbrance, though they will be appearing in the Expansion rules.
Though I did find some rules in this forum. Normally my players will keep under their carry weight so we don't tend to bother with the extra steps.
Optional Encumbrance Rules for The Mutant Epoch: There are 8 levels of encumbrance, the base level (STR in kg), and seven levels which increase by an amount equal to the base number until level 8 which is 8x STR in kg as a maximal load (can stagger around a few steps, virtually impossible to do anything else). Each level after the 1st would have a penalty (non-cumulative) to certain actions, tasks, and skills.
So as an example we will take someone with a 25 STR (average) with an unencumbered move of 6m:
1) 0-25 kg <Unencumbered> 2) 26-50 kg <-7 SR, +3 DV, Hazard Checks for Movement Skills/Tests shift 2 columns right, -15% move> 3) 51-75 kg <-14 SR, +6 DV, Hazard Checks for Movement Skills/Tests shift 3 columns right, -30% move> 4) 76-100 kg <-21 SR, +9 DV, Hazard Checks for Movement Skills/Tests shift 4 columns right, -45% move> 5) 101-125 kg <-28 SR, +12 DV, Hazard Checks for Movement Skills/Tests shift 6 columns right, -60% move> 6) 126-150 kg <-35 SR, +18 DV, Hazard Checks for Movement Skills/Tests shift 8 columns right, -75% move> 7) 151-175 kg <-42 SR, +25 DV, Hazard Checks for Movement Skills/Tests shift 10 columns right, -90% move> 8) 176-200 kg <-49 SR, +35 DV, Hazard Checks for Movement Skills/Tests shift 12 columns right, move to 0.25m>

I created a somewhat realistic formula for determining encumbrance. Tell me what you think!
Base Encumbrance = Character Weight/3.
Characters with STR greater than 25 gain a bonus to Base Encumbrance (BE) equal to how much their strength exceeds 25 *as a percent of their Base Encumbrance*.
E.g. A character weighs 63kg and has a STR of 75. BE is 63/3, which is 21. S/he gains a bonus multiplier of (75-25)/100=.5 50% of BE 21*.5=10.5. The character gains an extra 10.5kg of ENC to their BE of 21, for a total of 31.5 due to their awesome strength.
Conversely, for characters with STR below 25, the "bonus" would be subtracted from the BE. A slightly different formula is applied.
E.g. A character has weighs 63kg and has a STR of 15. BE is 63/3, which is 21. In this case STR is subtracted from 25: (25-15)/100=.1. 10% of BE 21 is 2.1. The character loses 2.1kg of ENC from their BE of 21, for a total of 18.9 due to their weakness.
Cheers!
