MEAT SHIELD is -30 DV not 130 DV !!!
by WillMcAusland » Wed Jan 18, 2012 6:11 pm
On page 107, top right column ... meat shield gives a -30 DV bonus, not a 130! What a enormous typo! Our Apologies! We are correcting this in all versions of the books and going to reload all the Hub Rule book files available for POD or PDF.
I guess having the rules stuck in one's head means not having to go to the book each time during a game, but sometimes it's best to double check and discover such an embarrassing typo!

Heat Pulse added to the Ghost Mutation List
by WillMcAusland » Sun May 22, 2011 8:16 pm
Brutorz Bill is to thank fro bring this to our attention. Somehow, the mutation Heat Pulse got left off of Table TME-1-59 Ghost & Latent Mutations on page 59. Heat pulse should be a ghost mutant eligible mutation. The fix is to have the d100 roll of 01-04 be heat pulse and 05-08 advanced mind. Our apologies. We will go back tot he master book files and fix this for future print runs.

Lying Matrix updated

from another post...
...The lying skill was a very late addition, something I thought should be handled by PC and GM interaction with NPCs without at a table determining the success or failure of a character's attempt at lying, but some gamers like social interaction tables, so it got added. Clearly, we have messed up and this will mean a re-release of every print on demand and pdf source out there. The table should read that the more skilled the liar, and the less intelligent the NPC being lied to, the harder for the lie to be detected. Before this table was created July 20th 2011, the table showed the opposite. Somehow we reverse ordered the hazard check letter codes!
Okay, here is the corrected lying matrix table. We are updating all the book files and will be reloading those to the marketplace, plus, inserting new tables by hand on all the books in our inventory. Yes, a lot of work, but it has to be done. Core rules must be as perfect as humanly possible as every other supplement and adventure depends on this.
WM.
If you have an 11 x 8.5 book (those bought at lulu.com or RPGnow/Drivethrurpg's print program) then the following page has the table the correct size for cutting out and gluing over the old table...
