WASTELANDER!
August's Bounty Boards will have a new release soon! For this next encounter I went with more Rp and a small cast of characters and a new location that can be placed in the Overpass Region as a small Homestead, or just dropped into your own homebrew adventure. The Bounty is a new mutant of the wastes known as a Lilith Tick, a powerful psychic monstrosity that is the Mutant Epoch's version of a Brood Parasite. If you don't know what that is, I suggest googling the Cuckoo bird. Natures version of deadbeat parenting Also in this next edition I've got a companion release, complete with crappy pen tablet art I did myself wooo! I swear to mutant zombie jesus next free edition I do I'm only drawing stick figures in chalk and taking a grainy cellphone pic of it. The companion release is The Mutant Epoch: Homesteader, and can be found at Dropbox linked below. www.dropbox.com/s/154b64peusytz7a/TME%20Homesteader.pdf?dl=0The actual PDF file was 1.55mb so a little to big to fit as an inserted file into the forums themselves. Watch this thread for when I drop the actual Bounty Hunter PDF, which should be inbound sometime next week, assuming I figure out how to actually make my new word doc do all the wonderful things it whispered to me. (I'm sorry Apache, I'm cheating on you. It wasn't us, it was you. Learn to save in DOCX maybe?) Later mutants, freaks and cyborgs. Tim P.S. TME Homesteader is Part 1 of a multi-part "Build your paradise" release arc I'll be making. You want to help, send me a private message, all suggestions are welcome.

Quick Update! Did a few play tests on the next BH Monthly and the Lilith tick murdered everyone in the party both times. In a straight battle, she doesn't win, but the RP side of the quest tends to murder hobo the players. We also discovered if a player has a Synthetic PC the entire hunt ends in a few seconds as the robotic brained character isn't fooled by the Ticks illusion psionics and just shoots the monster in the face right from the beginning. Target for release is next week Wednesday! Oo Also, Mutant Lord was kind enough to send some border art my way so I can make the documents a little better looking all around! Proof that it's almost done (Formatted at least)Attachments:

Give an upgraded Lilith tick a physical chameleon ability, so it can hide from bots. Similar to the bugs from "Mimic". Another idea might be the Lilith Bug using its wiles on NPCs the characters deal with. That scrap buyer not giving you a good price? Now he is. That healer not liking you? They do now. That guy in the shadows about to sneak up on you? Spotted. Now guess who suggested to the scrap buyer that you shouldn't get a good price, or that you seem abusive to other patients, or convinced the people to attack you. Or simply convinced the PCs to forget about some items of scrap (not the most valuable, as that would be noticed). This way the players have to slowly realize that the Lilith Bug is a parasite, as their PCs get killed off one at a time. But psychic critters vs bots will be a problem. "Guys, my internal spreadsheet says we picked up twenty pounds of plastic forks, not 18. Why did you only get money for 18?" One fun idea for a psychic critter might be the False Hydra here - goblinpunch.blogspot.com/2014/09/false-hydra.html

I hadn't considered an actual chameleon ability, I'll need to incorporate one for her so she can physically hide. She's huge, about the size of a wagon when fully grown, but still means she could disguise herself like a rock physically or even a pile of junk. I think my problem derived that I take a lot of RP liberties with the core content I produce, threading a larger story and using the base as a prompt which is what I'd expect other GM's to do as well.

WASTELANDERS!
The evil blood sucking Lilith is delivered. Warning to GM's, she hits like a truck and can mind crush your players by looking at them. That is why this Hunt has the option to just confirm it's location as well as killing the target. There is a small cast of characters in this hunt, closer to the way a 1 day dig is setup but not as verbose. I wrote enough to get your feet wet and if a GM wants to extend it into a full day adventure there is enough here to work with to expand on with their own grown content. Hope you all enjoy! Lilith The Tick.pdf (686.34 KB) *Note on the formatting. I switched to LibreOffice for this release, still learning the programs quirks, of which it has many. No bad art this time, the file was getting to big! Also, any suggestions are welcome and I'm looking for anyone who has suggestions for the next Bounty Hunt!

Page 1, right-hand column, first paragraph has an average Farming family having 2d6-1 Skill points, along with any PC having the caste Farmer also having 2d6-1 skill points. However the chart only has rows for Farming skill of Nil, and 1-5. Should the skill points instead be d6-1? And in case anyone is wondering, there are two bots in the Hub rules that would be useful to a farming community: Reprogrammed Medi-bot (it normally has d4+2 points in Medical skill, this would be replaced by the Farming skill, for a minimum of 3 Skill pts, and a 60% chance of maximizing its Farming ability. Its traits are Int 98, Willpower 32, Str 30, for a Farming Trait of 137 (vs average of 30). Technician Android It gets 1 skill at 5, and other tech skills at 2/. Since Farming would take up one of the Tech skills, that means it would have to specify which tech skill it doesn't have. Its Traits are Int 50, Willpower 40, Str 30, for a Farming trait of 97 (vs average of 30). But if the PCs are using bots to do their farming for them, they are likely extremely wealthy already.

Omg I love this robot idea!
And I'll check the PDF, I likely made a mistake so thanks for finding it in advance!
After the Halloween hunt I think I'll do a Robo Salvage/construct adventure for players making their own servant construction bots.

Robo salvage/construct mission? They better make sure there aren't Mecha viruses in the components. That would be a fun end to the adventure, where they overlooked one bot, it spread the virus to the others, and when the PCs are relaxing in their base the robots rise up.
Or instead of a Mecha virus, someone else has a control program, so you get this:
