Hi Epochians, I have emerged from the old subway line, blinking at the painful brilliance of daylight. I stagger to the trade Fort's peg board and find a space among the tattered wanted posters and notifications of missing excavators. With my lower right hand, I use an old relic tack to add this:
Coming very soon The Mutant Epoch Quick Start Rules Complete withe the 62+ page companion adventure Muddy Mayhem This is gonna be a FREE PDF, but a print book will also follow along shorty after.
I know the rules might not be much use to you wastelanders here, who no doubt already have the hub rules, but the accompanying adventure is gonna be a great addition and takes place in the Bitter Bog swamp of the Lower Freehold (Crossroads Region) You will be encouraged to also download and freely share the Quick Start Rules far and wide (a pdf without the adventure will also be available at our website).
Following the release, all our RPG efforts will be devoted to the Expansion Rules Book.
Standby and thanks for your patience. Will McAusland

YES! This'll save me from giving away my physical copies of the Hub Rules to interested people at cons! Speaking of which, I need to order a new physical copy. Going with a hard cover this time!

The cover art looks great. I really like the perspective on Muddy Mayhem. I take it this will be two separate distinct books? Would it be acceptable to print out and hand out copies of the Quickstart rules to players at Cons? I'll be running some ME games next year at Lexicon 2017 in Lexington, Kentucky.

For the Muddy Mayhem picture, looks like a nasty alligator/crocodile on the right and a spiny tentacle/vine on the left. Two predators working together so whichever foe the party defends against, the other can grab a snack or few.
Or just toss a pig to one of the predators to distract/get rid of it. Kill the other, then go after the one that was distracted. Best is to toss the pig to the vine/tentacle, so the mobile gator can be killed. After the gator is killed, the tentacle/vine is stationary and can be killed afterward. Loot both locations afterward.

Yes, please copy the quick start rules only or rules plus adventure PDFs and distribute widely however you see fit! Conventions are the perfect place for this. You could even burn copies to DVDs to hand out cheaply, and the printer friendly version is only 2.5mb in size so you could email it easily. The PDF version is like 15mb so might be hard to email, but the permanent link to the full Zipped file will be at both rpgnow and drivethrurpg.com so you could send interested people there, too. These rules proceed the coming Expansion Rules, which we are now working on in earnest and are close to completion of the first working draft. I will be making an announcement here to the community shortly as we want to take a look at any new relics, mutations, cybernetics and skills you might have come up with in your own games that could be added to the new rules book. Okay, back to work on the final tweaks to the Quick start Rules web page and release texts. Here you can get a sneak peak of the page (links not all working yet except for the print book at Amazon or create space and the free Printer friendlier rules only book. www.outlandarts.com/qsr.htm Standby for launch WM

Took a moment to stop by while eagerly devouring the new book. Awesome as always! I bought it through gumshoe, at 5 bucks. I hope more people do this... even though it's free, it's well worth money. If I had more, I'd have paid more.
Regardless, I love Muddy Mayhem! You really went overboard, but man-o-man is it great. Best of all, now we'll get to see some progress on the most eagerly awaited product since 7th Sea Second Edition = the EXPANSION rules! Whhooooppp!
... and maybe he'll have time to read my one day dig? LOL.
Cheers and Happy Holidays everyone!
