Just wanted to surface from the deep ruins to say hello to all the new members who've recently joined this forum, and to let you know what we've been up to.
for the most part, I am working on the Mutant Epoch novel trilogy, or perhaps it would be more accurate to say the books are working on me. I can't tell you the last time I was so obsessed with a project... I think I am starting to dream this stuff at night.
At any rate, the first draft is more-or less entirely written and I am just going through updating the first part of the series. Some of you may not know it but the tabletop RPG is set in the world of the books, which I decided to publish after the RPG came out. At any rate, once the first cycle of the novels are crafted and ready for the first readers and editor, I will ship them off and probably not see them for a long time. While they are at the editors, I will refocus all fire power on the final push of the Expansion Rules.
Of course there are some Pay What You Want and free goodies in the works too, including a One Day Dig called The Ascent - more on that later. I am also working on a free Quick Start rules book, which will come with a bit of setting material from the Crossroads Region book and an all new One Day Dig that uses just the creatures, mutations, relics and rules found in the quick start book. That adventure is called Muddy Mayhem.
So, I also want to apologize to all those who I owe emails to, and some original artwork shipments (SavageGM, and Clock-Punk)
Okay, time for an espresso and back to work on the scene in the post-apocalyptic saloon.
Kindest regards, William McAusland

Will thanks for the update. Have blood road and nuke tower been released? If they are not going to be can you share your notes, maps and drawings for the adventure modules? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the update, can't wait for those expansion rules and novels....have you considered cloning yourself to speed things up a bit?

Ahhhhhh... Sorry, all those new character types have gotten my really excited for the expansion. Can you at least give us a rough estimate of when it will be done?

Dont abandon the forum and the fans here. I see stuff on facebook about Mutant epoch, but the forum does not get the same news. The forum has to be kept up to date or its going to dwindle and die off.
Get the Mutant Expansion done. Dont start too many projects or none will get finished. Its easy to get excited with a new project and put the other on hold. But in the end, not much gets accomplished. I like books and sci-fi fiction- but my main want is GAMING!

Unfortunately it seems there have gotten to be too many irons in the fire as of late. I understand the need but I have to agree with some of the frustration showing through in bloodaxe's comments. The expansion rules are really needed soon. Their release will fire up the players & gamers who are slowly losing focus on TME because we only see the tiny public picture of the behind the scenes whole. To us, outside the loop, we only see a seemly inactive product line. Attracting new players is needed, but make sure you don't forget us who are here already. Note, this isn't a criticism, just a reminder to look up from the work table now & again. It won't help the whole line if you end up having to sell it to a whole new audience because the older players have moved on. Me, I have my Pathfinder RPG games running to keep me busy, & I have designed my own adventures for years so lack of new adventures isn't a biggie to me. Others may not have as many years in RPGing behind them as I do (36 years+ kinda weens you off of needing pre-built things) but even I need the new expansion rules to move ahead with ideas requiring the "cannon" rule set for them.
