There's been a few mentions on the forum about Centauroid characters. There is that Minor Mutation that adds a second set of hind limbs, and a centaur-like character derived from that, with a mention of a Cyber Centaur for the expansion rules, but what about a whole new character class, the Taur.
Genetically engineered like the bestial humans, these retain their human torso, upper limbs and head, making them more intelligent than the Bestials and easier for pure-breed humans to tolerate and interact with (the reason for their creation). There are a few different types.
Horse Taur- Built for pulling and carrying loads. Has strength and stamina.
Cat Taur- Built for sneak attacks and infiltration. Has agility and speed.
Dog Taur- Built for guard and patrol duties. Has endurance and alertness.
These are the three mains, there are a few others I've considered, a Reptile Taur for desert use, a Snake Taur for aquatic ops, perhaps a Spider/Scorpion Taur. They can breed with others of their type and suitably sized versions of base animal their variant is derived from, but not humans. They can have a few mutations like the Bestials.
Of course you can just have a basic Bestial Human and make that doubled hind limbs mutation a standard for some groups, but I wanted a human upper half.
