Well shit, serves me right for not looking closer. I jumped right to RPGNow and snagged the PDF last night from my email link, totally missing the Double-Barrel part until after I ordered the softcover from Amazon this AM.
Reading comprehension=Fail...

This is most excellent, however the mutant fly in the radioactive ointment is that I would like to buy it via my local games store (Orc's Nest in central London), and the standard distribution channels haven't picked up on it yet. I can do the double deal or get it from Amazon UK sure, but I'd really like to support my local shop. It's not in the latest Esdevium update, any idea when it'll reach them?

Good Morning Epochians!
xhaosdaemon, Sorry to hear you missed the Double Barrel deal. We will be setting these up for all new books.
Stibbons, We are between distributors right now and as our distributions services folks and Outland Arts parted ways. We really needed to be getting at least three books a year out to get the numbers they wanted, but we want to do a one or two books and instead add more smaller, Pay What You Want and free PDFs between books. We are going to contact all our past distributors, however, and see if they will deal with us directly or not. SO, people, don't wait to see this book in stores for a few months. The Double Barrel Deal is really the best, fastest cheapest choice.
Thanks to everybody who picked up a copy. Its been dang popular and right now is the number one hottest item at RPGnow.com!http://www.rpgnow.com/index.php
Can't believe its out there. Kinda walking around here stunned.
Regards Will McAusland

For us across the pond the quickest way to get one is via Amazon, I could have had it my hands by by monday if I'd ordered yesterday, and picking up the pdf from DriveThru makes the total cost only a few dollars more so I'll probably go via that route.
Pity about the distribution deals, if you can deal directly with Orc's Nest (or Leisure Games in Finchley) at some point in the future that would be great, but for now Amazon will suffice. Looking forward to getting it now.

got a PDF because i'm cheap and don't really need a book, but i'm going through it and i love it. Especially the monsters that aren't "Rip and tear" and willing to deal with people
i also immensely love the local's ways of dealing with imposing large beasts (i.e. Bog Lurker's being lured over a hidden pit of spearmen, i can totally imagine some young draftees and old watchmen with spears, pikes, and swords waiting in a pit for the farmer to run over followed by a bog lurker)
