Okay, so its very, very late at night here but I wanted to share this big news before I crash face first into the keyboard. Our own SavageGM (Brandon Goeringer) has done it again. He's authored the first Double Feature of One Day Digs. This is a pair of first rank intro adventures. They're really affordable as a Pay What You Want gig. Free if you're broke or just want to take a look, but if you like what you see, either toss us a few coins or bucks, and/or leave a review someplace out there on the web. We're splitting whatever folks throw in the tip jar as a fifty-fifty deal so I hope you'll all support him ;} Here is the official blurb and a couple of images for yeah. Kindest regards and off to bed I go, Mutant Lord, And here is what is in the PDF:

Thanks for all the support guys! I often find that getting into a new RPG can sometimes be a daunting task when choosing where to begin and more specifically, what adventure to play first. I hope the One Day Dig product line can be an answer and get GMs and Players feet wet in The Mutant Epoch by introducing the setting, system, critters and relics in an adventure that can be played in one night at a convention, flgs or playing at home. So enjoy, and again from William and myself thanks for your continued support for The Mutant Epoch and other Outland Arts Products!

I put the small d6 table in each of my adventures to add or change monsters listed to increase difficulty or just to play it differently each time so that if it's played at a convention or store it can be something new to the GM or that higher rank party. Thanks for the kind words. I love feedback of all sorts so I look forward to how they are received.

Has any one been able to run any of the One Day Dig adventures yet? I'd love to hear how they went and how their were received from your players. I'm like a parent checking in with the teacher to make sure "little johnny" is doing good in school.

I had my group run through the Feast of freaks this past weekend, its funny you should ask. Since it was a one day adventure i let them choose between playing as their mutant characters or play as an elite holy purist recon squad. They choose recon squad. It was a massacre to say the least. The Leader Lt. Bucher hand a grenade and that he gave to one of his men to throw into the communal fire pit, while himself and the rest of their squad went around behind the temple to release the horrifly. It was funny actually because as they were attempting to be stealthy and sneak up they failed half of there agility checks resulting in half of the chants coming to investigate. They engaged them with short swords and brawling skills. The private with the grenade tossed it into the fire pit when he heard the rest of his team engage with the enemy behind the temple and kiled five of the reptilius instantly. This caused the remaining chanters to flee in all directions except for Chief Shrak who immediately charged the private. This of couse made the private crap his pants abruptly and he tried to turn around and run but tripped and feel down hard after 3 meters. As this was happening the rest of the squad was just finishing up with the chanters behind the temple and proceeded to release the horrifly. The horrifly charged the chief and his two guards and slaughtered them before they could fall upon the private and kill him. After killing the chief the horrifly fled into the swamp dragging the chiefs lifeless body with it. Lt. Bucher then ordered his men to cut the heads off of all the reptilius and put them on spikes surrounding the temple and personally executed both mutant captives with his bare hands. They patched up their wounded and moved on after that back to the purist hub having completed their mission of search and destroy.

Wow that's a fantastic write up Rexbannon. Love hearing about it and hope it was a fun session for all involved. Loved that they killed the mutants. I never really thought about that sort of ending!

Oh i forgot one of the best parts! They rode in Colonel Zanzibar's suped up Scrap truck to the old forest where i had placed the Feast of Freaks module. They had to drive through one whole hex of forest to the river where they would go in by foot. They ran into a random encounter while driving in the truck that was epic! Three Renderer's were perched in the trees as the truck drove slowly through the forest down the old beat up road to the river. Their were four purist soldiers in the bed of the truck. one of the renderer's jumped out of a tree and landed on top of one of the soldiers in the bed of the truck almost killing him but the other three soldiers quickly unloaded rifle fire into it knocking it out of the truck in a bloody heap. the second renderer had a mutation of Lance tongue and waited for the truck to come within range. it tried to attack the Sargeant in the back of the pickup bed but missed and the truck sped past. the last renderer also tried to jump into the bed of the truck but missed and got trampled under the back axles and tires being killed instantly. At this point the second renderer hopped onto the path and ran up to the truck. it jumped up an clung to the tail gate while attacking the sargeant again with its lance tongue. this time it was successful. The only down side was that the thre remaining soldiers in the truck unloaded rifle fire into him from point blank and killed the last renderer. it was a very cool encounter.
