Watch your step, wastelander… that pile of loot ahead might just be a trap! Designed and written by Brandon Goeringer, this is the 6th free mutant freak in the Creatures of the Apocalypse line and the first to be offered in three nasty sizes: Juvenile, Adult and Brute! The Scraplurker is a dweller of the ruins, old war zones and rubble strewn bogs. Although humanoid, these pack hunters view mankind as nothing more than the next meal. Their favorite trick is to wait in ambush, face down, exposing their junk and relic strewn backs to entice excavators and scavs in close enough to make a quick kill. Of course, what ruin looter can resist the often rare and valuable treasure items just laying in plain sight? This 8 page PDF offers the Scraplurker in three sizes, a mutation list, full page player handout version of the cover art, as well as a d100 Loot table showcasing items that one might find stuck to the back of these gruesome ambush predators. Cool and disturbing! I'll use these critters soon. This reminds me of the Junk lady in the movie Labyrinth (1986). "It's a pencil box. Got lots of pencils in it too. Here's your panda slippers. You know how much you like them. You never wanted them thrown away. There they are. That's right. Okay, now then, what else?"

Providnce13, it's funny you mention the junk lady from labyrinth because when I told my friend what I had written and he saw the art he thought the same thing. Lemme know how it is received or any feed back since it's my first creation for a rpg and would love to hear any thoughts on them. I've got another even more disturbing critter I'm working on!

Thanks Rex if you use them I'd love to hear about it. They are like my first child going off to school so I want to know how their day was .

The art is awesome, as always. Anyone recall the old pic from Deities and Demigods (I think..) that has an adventurer drawn with every little bit of equipment that characters think they can carry?
These creatures could easily be my PC's. "But I have it written down, right here.."

It's got everything I like to see in a new beastie - imaginative, unique, great art, and a new random loot table! ^_^
Always give credit where it is due, to both Wil and Brandon.
