First off got the hardcover of the crossroads region. I can see why that took so long a lot of stuff in that book. I have only had the opportunity to glance at it but several spots in the book it refers to a character that can be downloaded from the site. I can't find them up on the downloads page or other areas that I would think to look. Can someone point me in the right direction or are they not up on the site yet? |

I thought it would be under downloads by product.. but it's not there yet.Sorry if you already know this, but If I understand you correctly, Go to the main page, login to SOE; Society of Excavators. -Your main rules book has a password on the opening splash page.(I think they're all the same.) You email the co. and they send you a login and password to the SOE membership area.(Again, I think they're all the same.)- Now you go to the SOE membership area, login(!) and check out the Downloads section. I believe this started from the original site being a private, closed to the public forum. This new site we are on now, is open but you still need another login password + code to get into the SOE.. I think it's a bit frustrating having the 2 "separate but same" areas, but that's how it is. Like a GM's only section. IDK. I have found a few other areas mentioned is various books that might have a "go here to get this", but haven't been able to find them. I love the game. It's a small team and the product is solid so I just chalk it up to, they'll get around to it.  Welcome to the forums!

OK, I'm a fool, it seems I have the NPC's in Crossroads as a separate pdf, so I must have got them from somewhere. Can't remember; I'll keep looking around the site.

Hi Guys,
The crossroads NPCs are in a different, non-SOE location. A blind, or secret link. The reason is that a lot of people are buying the book that are not strictly players of The Mutant Epoch and needed access to the PDF versions without being members.
If we can keep the link secret, keep it safe, then it won’t get too much traffic from non-buyers and crash the server. If you have your copy of the Crossroads Region Gazetteer, flip to page 389. You’ll see the link there on the right hand column, as well as throughout the book at various points where it suggest downloading content. That link is the central hub for all the Crossroads PDFs.
Please let me know of there are any issues so I can get on them ASAP. Things were heavily tested so it should all be working fine,

@providence- Yeah I already tried that it didn't work for me and was the reason for the original post.
@mutant Lord- It must be really super secret. I tried the link on p.389 as well as the link on p.321 both are the same link and neither google or bing can find it. I even tried a both types of slash as it's easy to get them confused and nothing.

I forgot to add that I understand about the need for secrecy of the link. I've since registered since my last post. So far of what I've read of the book it looks good.
