The group I'm running TME for plays Dungeon Crawl Classics on odd weeks. I started reading Mutant Crawl Classic (same ruleset with a decidedly post apocalyptic setting) just to see how it compared to TME, and I noticed it has something I miss from Gamma World that isn't in Mutant Epoch: Artifact tables. In those other games, when PC's find ancient devices, they don't usually know what they are or what they were used for. There's a system in place to represent the gradual figuring out (or not) what the ancient device is supposed to do. That's not present in TME as far as I can see.
I'm NOT saying that's a bad thing... just something I miss from Gamma World days.
BTW, I'm right here with money in my eager paws waiting for those Expansion Rules!!!!
