Hi everybody! Been a long time since I last posted, haven't been active on the web a lot cause I've got so much stuff I've got to do and am doing all the time. Anyways, I paint miniatures, a lot, and I came across the old Privateer Press (Warmachine) mini pewters and realized "Damn, these would proxy as TME mini's perfectly!" Exhibit A Still needs a lot of work, but you guys get the basic idea. I've spawned a few local games in my area, and in the miniature model department we are seriously lacking right now. But I stand to correct that with anyone who can help here! So post what you got, share the brands that work, and let's see what we can find

Those girls look mean! Good finds. I personally don't use miniatures but mine is more due to financial & space limitations. Fixed income (disability) sucks. (well getting old sucks too but you really can't avoid that lol).

Thanks.
Personally, I didn't intend on using minis but my players kept resorting to final fantasy battles where they'd just stand there and call out attacks. The second I got some mini's on a grid board and suddenly they're navy seals, using stealth to get into position, using cover, organising ambushes, flanking, and group takedowns.

Some players need visual cues to get into the feel of the game. Most of my players have been long-time players (20+yrs!) so we never needed the minis, just an old-school hex/grid sheet map (once we did use the salt & pepper shakers to demonstrate an ambush though, lol).
