Looks interesting and complex. Hope the borg can do proper maintenance on all the legs, plus the fun mental coordination of them. Then again, if the person has grown up with them, that wouldn't be a problem as the multi-legs are considered normal.
Should that be an idea for Mutant Epoch, where if a person is put into another body, they take a period of time to get used to the new body? Going from humanoid to humanoid is fairly easy, but the more difference the longer it takes.
Of course, depending on the adventure the characters might not live long enough for that to be an issue.

Going from humanoid to humanoid is fairly easy, but the more difference the longer it takes. I've given it over that if a player wants to modify their body beyond the normal count of limbs the extra are governed by an on-board CPU that acts like a mini brain. That's strictly RP, and they've had fun describing it to NPC's and each other. One game that got all the way to Rank 20 ended with one player ending it as a freakish horror cyborg. They had removed almost all of their body down except a brain and stem. A fleshy prosthetic served as a face which it could manipulate to form many different program profiles, which it "thought" made it easier to speak with people. That... thing, was a horror. Twin-linked chain guns, a scorpion like laser cannon, cybernetic brain, holographic projectors, force field, anti personal grenade launcher. We just had silly fun turning it into something that if you wanted it dead you had to do it from orbit. "I shall turn this field into Gehenna, and all shall burn". -Jatooro (the PC's name). Eventually, he'll be a hunt.

I created a spiderborg using the info from the Excavator Monthly Compendium. I've created several test characters using the Stereotypes system (also in the EMC). Found them to be a little overpowered (although considering the lethality of Rank 1 games, that may not be a problem). One player tried to take on a Garnock with his Hulking Freak pc. You can figure out how that ended. Lets just say his character ended up "going to pieces" & I'll let your imagination fill in the rest. Of course he did end up killing it posthumously, it died from ingesting his poison blood (which was very potent at type D Death), but that was after it smeared two other PCs who didn't run like hell while he was distracting it.
