I have only seen a few issues and those are from LONG ago. Is this something that was cancelled? Or is it quarterly now? Seemed like a good idea.

I can't speak for Mutant Lord, but I'd assume he'd not be upset if we brewed up something like a 1 page doc monthly.

So lets talk about this. How about an end of April Excavator monthly. Something simple to start, I'd like to see 1 new Relic weapon, 1-6 random encounters, and a unique character as a posted Bounty for Diggers to hunt.
Doc could have the Encounters first D6 roll 6 new encounters for any Bar,Bathouse, town, steet whatever the write wants to jot down
Followed by the Unique Item Buzz saw catapult- blah blah blah
Unique Character Tooth Licker- Warmort Raider Stats Armor Weapons Mutations Bounty and Crimes- Last Known Location-

Alright I'll work on something tonight for it, see what we can do. I'm not good with biological art of any king, round lines and me don't mix. Should have a rough draft up tomorrow evening.

The idea is they were test subjects in an underground research facility, researching adaptive camouflage much like a lizard except they could mimic patterns a textures. After the fall the apes escaped the labs and have been living underground for 200 years. Not sure how it's going to work but the adaptive camo is a great idea. Especially if it's genetic AND hereditary.

I have to say, I was pretty hyped when I first discovered this game. Now that I have been here a bit, it saddens me that there isnt more of a fan base.It is a pretty neat system and world space, but it seems there are only a few people ever on here.

Its an uphill battle for an independent company, I think MutantLord is pretty much by himself in all of the artwork and content creation. As much as I hate con events, we need to get some com games going and broaden the exposure. There is a lot of great art and the system is incredibly detailed with some amazing versatility.

Will is out in the wilds of British Columbia. I'm sure travel is not fast nor cheap. I am hoping he makes it to GenCon one day because I believe it would do a lot to promote the game to a wider audience. I ran some games at a small local Con last month. None of my players over 3 days had even heard of the game. I worked in a game store in high school back in the 1990s and have been an avid gamer my whole life with post apocolyptic science fantasy being my favorite genre with Dungeon crawling fantasy being a very close second. My point being I had never heard of TME till I read a random post on RPG.net which had a listing of Post Apoc games. TME was the only one I wasn't aware of. YouTube videos of tabletop gaming sessions are all the rage with my 20 something players on my weekly game. I think a play session of TME would be highly beneficial.

TME is the most popular game at my local store, we have an amazing amount of fun with it and several of the players have bought their own digital copies. Generally if I can get somebody to play, they don't want to play anything else, but I also put some work into the prep to make it as fluid as possible. Here is some of the things I'm working out for making an Excavators Monthly. A simple random encounter with a table that includes the variables for a Medium encounter fight. Will likely go to a Large Encounter fight, so GM's can roll down the number of mobs and just chose the ones from the list. I think this is closer to the Original One Day Dig idea, keeping it down to one page like this. Will include a tiny bit of story where needed to provide a GM launching points. Thoughts?

I think keeping it to one page is a great idea. It acts one off encounter that can be inserted anywhere. I've found the current one day digs to be perfectly paced for 3-4 hour games at conventions or as introductory adventures for new players. I've also inserted them into campaign play when I'm not prepped.
