Pitford book on schedule
by WillMcAusland » Tue Apr 24, 2012 11:33 pm
Hello SOE members,
In spite of delays caused by the studio renovations, it seems we are on schedule with the release of Pitford: Gateway to the Ruins for somewhere in the middle of May 2012.
We've created a dedicated page for each of our TME books, including each magazine issue, plus, art gallery for each publication. You'll also notice a new home page for the public side of the site. At any rate, here are the links to the main Pitford web page and the art gallery, although I will be posting art here on the forum and the blog shortly.

Slight Delay due to surgery
by WillMcAusland » Sun May 20, 2012 5:00 pm
Dang, there is going to be a slight delay on the Pitford Gateway to the Ruins book as I had emergency surgery a couple of weeks back. Seems my gall bladder went south and had to be yanked out. I was sort of bed ridden for a nearly a week after and not really able to do much on the Pitford book on account of the pain meds and being unable to sit upright.
I am happy to report all the illustrations are now done and about to be scanned and placed in the layout this week. We are going to re-do the cover art, however, and get one more final proof read, a quick one hopefully, while I work on the new cover art. So, while we are still aiming for a May release, it's going to be tight.
I am very excited about this book and can hardly wait to present it to the TME community, however, my mind is already racing ahead to upcoming releases, especially the Crossroads Region book; which is going to be a monster coming in at over 300 pages and will need a ton of town maps and over 100 other illustrations. That one will take the rest of the summer. Also, we see that without a steady monthly release our sales dwindle away as attention goes away form the line, and are looking at releasing some much smaller products along the way. These smaller products will be focused supplements, one evening adventures, resources for player characters, and hopefully paper miniatures for those who like to have figures on the table.
Okay, time to get scanning and inserting the Pitford art into the layout,
Thanks for your support and patience.
Will

Thanks Colin,
I'm feeling a lot better now and working hard on the next book (Pitford), as well as gardening and getting the trailer ready for another season of camping and sketching in the wilds.
