Hi guys,
we recently started playing and I'm a little confused if/how armor, implant and mutation -dvs are stackable. It's explicit that for example the different armor implants don't stack, but do they with worn armor? Do mutations like ballistic skin? I'm guessing things like the -dv bonus from wings do as it seems more like a dodge bonus. If everything stacks it seems to result in very large -dv boni possible right from the start, two characters with the combinations I used as example reach better then -60.

Thanks for the question. As I understand it, the different DV values do stack. ("If more than one implanted armor is present, select only the highest punch damage..") A borg could have an alloy plated skull, enhanced skeleton and a steel carapace for -49 DV! All of the Move, App, Weight penalties would stack too. Dress the same borg in some over-sized Heavy Junk Armor and he could benefit from that as well. -66 DV is serious protection! But you still have additional weight/speed penalties.

Cool, thanks for the quick awnser. Guess he stumbled upon some pretty good combo then, the cyborg in question has cyberlegs as well, making the movement penalties moot, in fact even in armor he still got a net positive movement.

Sounds like a tough PC. He must weigh a ton! Please tell me they don't have wings.

let's hope he doesn't suffer an unfortunate fall. Fall damage is a killer.

Don't forget the benefit of positional modifiers. Pg 105 ME might help if the PC's are feeling invulnerable..

Lorenzo Lamas could take him! I dunno, Lamas aren't exactly known for their combat capability, unless it spits acid or something like that.
