Cyborgs: Full body Mods by FW » Sat Apr 13, 2013 11:46 pm
Hi,
Are there any plans in the future for players or npcs to be full body mods for mutant epoch, when i talk about full body mods i think a full conversion with 85% of the recipients body is cyborg. Meaning allot of implants. Probably the only thing being human is the brain and spine maybe. I have read the material in the Excavator Monthly Compendium (Character Stereotypes: Monstrous Cyborg) and got a few ideas from reading this. Full body mods are almost robots with a brain and other meat components.
Thanks again

In the latest terminator movie 'Salvation', which of course I loved, had Marcus, a more or less flesh sheathed android with a organic heart. I'd like to see that movie again and look at the xray they showed of him to see if his skull and brain were mechanical or organic. Can't recall right now.
There is a line between being a cyborg, and being a humanoid robot with a human brain floating in a nutrition vat; and these we plan to add as a character-NPC option in the Expansion Rules book, a book we are only able to get to after a few other books are completed.
As the GM, I think you could easily make such a character type using the implant's table, picking specific base implants and then adding a few options... or just going to a Combat android and giving it a human brain and saying all the rest was added around that to a once complete human. The stats for various androids are shown on table TME-6-1 page 184.
Interesting subject WM
