That sounds great! Been hoping someone could lend a hand, mutated claw or talon on this project. Here's the latest version. Still not "done", but it's getting ever closer. Even a java driven something would be helpful. I know excel can do everything*, just not sure how to make it run clean. Here's the latest. TME CHARSHEET_11_29.xlsm (221.63 KB) Expanded the skill area. My players are learning more skills than their Attack Modes, at the moment ("Wait a minute! Tell me how you're carrying 3 rifles, a spear, 2 pistols, a shovel and a katana..? ) Mutations/Implants can be randomly generated, but aren't really assigned, yet. Work in progress.. * Here's an example of someone who knows excel. carywalkin.ca/2013/03/17/arena-xlsm-released/

eenteresting, would you like to port this to javascript? i have some knowledge of java, html, and css, and could probably make a half decent web page / program to do this. and from there, we need sprites, a basic dice roller, and encounter tables and we have a video game...i guess...it would probably be ultima level, but w/e. actually hmmm maybe not a half bad idea. muahahahahahahahahaha. game may not happen, ever, but i would do the website thing to the best of my ability [edit] on second thought, ill just make a java app If and when I make headway on TME GM's Helper, I could see something like the original Wasteland or a Zork style game. Only, better.

Guys the GM Helper and the java app are great ideas! Seriously Providence, being able to automatically determine the available goods in stores, like you suggested, would be beyond awesome. Some very serious and dedicated GMs could roll everything in advance of course.... but that would mean a hell of a lot of rolls! Picture this situation: The group is traveling through a vast and arid desert. To guide them they have just a half torn and weathered map showing the location of a series of some small villages, all separated by a couple of days of travel... Players would die to know when and where water and food will be available! And the GM stands there, tall and proud, with his trusty >>GM helper<<, ready to serve. One click ( and one printer maybe) and the truth is revealed. No water today guys ! A random encounters generator would also be "uber" useful for those (like me) that like to play with a lot of randomness. Not to mention that even in this case the rolls to determine certain encounters are a lot. Just think at any armed enemy. There's a roll to determine how many they are, relics chance, relic type, implants, implants type, mutations, mutation, type... Some of my friends asked me to scale the number of enemies encountered according to the number of players in the session... I refused to do that ( It's a cruel world! ) but some others could find it useful. Finally, speaking of randomness, I'd love to see a VIOLENT DEATH GENERATOR. This one wouldn't be very useful gameplay wise, but very funny to use ! I' ve always loved the way deaths are described in the Fallout series ( the very first ones). Here's an extract from my last experience with Fallout tactics: "Snake was critically hit by raider for no damage. Raider was critically hit by Snake for 67 damage, smacking the living sh** out of him" Or something like that. Having s vast list of these "death lines" could add some funny elements to the game. Maybe the generator could chose one from an online user made database . Just an idea! Sorry for the late reply
