Character portraits - PDF idea by Blood axe » Wed Feb 29, 2012 6:40 pm All hail the Mighty Mutant Lord!!!
The ICONS! Super-hero RPG game had an idea I thought was great. For $20 you send in your character, stats, idea, etc. It gets drawn up. Once there are a certain number of characters completed(30-40+), they are turned into a PDF product. So its a book of characters, NPCs, ready to play characters! All by real Mutant Epoch players. For the $20 you get a copy of the PDF and to see your character come to life by a great artist.
What do you think?

Sorry for the slow reply. We are just moving everything into the new studio and now sitting amid a sea of boxes, drawing tables, book shelves and costumes.
To the idea of a character book. I love the sound of this. The PCs could be used as ready to play characters or NPCs. It would be nice if each character had a write up of his or her deeds, back story, drives and obsessions, and any other color text. I'm open to this for certain. The character portraits, while small, would also be mailed back to the creator.

Sign me up! I want a book like this. It would save the GM a hundred times over.

I would LOVE to have Connor "Fox" MacLeod drawn up by the great mutant lord himself.
I am 100% behind this idea.
