An old idea, but I loved those old Steve Jackson Games cardboard hero sets, so easy to make your own as well, even a badly scribbled character sketch, poorly coloured with felt-tips, looked reasonable when you shrank it down to 25mm proportions. Since there's so much art of characters, npcs, monsters, etc. already there'd be no need to draw new material. A dozen skullocks in different poses would be very useful.
Maps would be useful, there are a load of useful ones in the GameMastery and Pathfinder maps series which can be used quite happily given the general low-tech nature of most environments, dropping in a few extras from the Star Wars Galaxy Tiles can help or the Maps of Mastery range can help enormously. Some of the Star Wars map range, particularly of Tatooine desert settlements are useful too. Of course maps from another Post-apoc rpg *coughgammaworldcough* are even more useful.
Any chance of a couple of sheets of stand ups then? Maybe a generic Mutant Epoch small settlement/trading post in the future?

stibbons, that's a great idea! I remember seeing some of those and downloaded some of the free ones. They're not too hard to find online but some TME would be awesome. I guess we could print some of the free art from this site. Shrunk down and printed on manila folders would probably do it.. Let me tinker around before work. OK, Here's a warmort re-sized to 35% then printed, cut and folded. Plastic Star Wars Jango for comparison. I think he's 35mm.

On the subject of maps I have found a useful resource at Drivethrurpg in The Forge Studios map series. Their "Fantasy Maps", while for a medieval fantasy world, have some nice fortified settlements. Stick a few bits of junk tech and the odd relic weapon in there and you've got the perfect little TME setting. Another useful one is their Instant Location- Restricted Area NV-576, an enclave in a ruined post-apocalypse city. The inhabitants are living on the upper floors of partly ruined building to avoid zombie-style infected nasties below. Precis Intermedia also do some nice cardboard standups in their Disposable Heroes range. Some useful stuff there too.

Prov 13 GENIUS!!! Looks great!!! I have been wanting to do minis; but didn't think that 28mm would be possible...56 maybe... But with TME how do you really do minis??? I mean I would love to buy some but your idea is great. Especially, if our Mutant Lord was penning some!!! I can demolish stuff to look like dungeons; but I can't draw anything that my Mother would put on her refrigerator!
Can we PLEASE just work out a scale!!! I know it is a tough call. Nice military in 1/72nd, fantasy in 28mm, trains in HO, doll house scale, etc.
Ruins...the art project we all can succeed at!!!
