For some unknown reason, there's a couple rules in TME that I can't seem to keep in my head. One of them is throwing range. Now, I know that's silly; it's simply the Strength score in meters. I just figured out why I was having a problem with remembering it.
The Strength score equals the range in meters for thrown objects, right? Then why does a high Strength ALSO give a bonus percentage to that same range? For example, a Strength of 75 means a character can throw a grenade/spear/whatever 75 meters. Only it's actually 112 meters, because a Strength of 75 gives a 50% bonus to throwing range (32.5 is half of 75; I rounded it down).
Am I missing something?
Am I being WAY too nitpicky? Yup, probably.
Thoughts/opinions? Am I wrong about how base throwing distance is calculated?
Thanks everybody! Let's all do a dance and hope it speeds up the Expansion! Woot!

Um... far as I know STR is not the range in meters for thrown objects. Each object (grenade, knives, spears, etc...) have their own range BASE range that is then modified by the STR thrown percent +/-.
Grenades are at 20m base thrown range (see GRENADES first paragraph, page 135 Hub rule book) that is then modified by the STR +/- percent modifier.
Rocks/Large Rocks/Huge Rocks have a 10m/4m/2m base range. (see Archaic Weapons Listing pg 99 Hub rule book)
Spears have a 15m base range. (see Archaic Weapons Listing pg 99 Hub rule book)
Knives/Daggers have a 3m base range (see Archaic Weapons Listing pg 99 Hub rule book)
I have found no reference for STR score = thrown range in any of the TME rules (I own all the TME products released to date).
