Some pics for the next Bounty Hunter Chronicle. This one is a little longer and has some good rewards if the players can survive the encounters. I need to get the map properly scanned and cleaned up in GIMP.

The Bounty Hunter July issue is looking a lot cleaner than the June one. Don't think I'll be able to get that map in I wanted as my scanner decided to commit seppuku for failing it's masters commands. I might just redraw the entire thing in GIMP, which I was really trying to avoid.

Thanks! I had to take an extended break from them to work on some of my own stuff, but I plan on making a few more when my schedule clears up a bit! That real hangup is my local group has moved onto testing my own game, so I don't always have the time to balance the encounters out.

That's a sweet looking map. What game are you testing?

We've been working on a few different stories and testing out some dice systems with them. The settings are what I'm most interested in, Cult of the Faceless also Blood and Glory.
The Dice system is hitting some snags, but it's served it's larger purpose of letting me understand the wider creation process and how to field good questions and extract wisdom from my testers interactions with the system.
Ultimately the dice system I created passes as a scaled down Skirmish game, but fails as an RPG system.
Recently we are going back to playing more Mutant Epoch, starting next week. I'm interested in adapting Cult of the Faceless towards the Outland Systems at any rate.
Twisted gas-lamp fantasy, an endless city built on the body of a dying god. The Faceless came, the great reaper, the whisperer of the last days who offers the Fruit of Oblivion to those who will take it. The Cult keeps the troubled thoughts of the Dreamer at bay, the God who dies, it's Nightmares made manifest through the sins of those who act against the natural order of creation.
Players are the order militant of the Cult, though they fight to hasten creations death, it is a death of gentle silence compared to the nightmarish screams of abomination.
But for now, need to plan a new Bounty Hunter Monthly lol, got low rank players to test it on again!

Whoa...? The PCs are trying to hasten creation's death? Holy crap. Sounds like the sort of game one might drink scotch at!
Yikes, dice systems. The sort of thing that keeps you up at night when you got to get up early to get your kids to school - in a blizzard. The Mutant Epoch saw a 2d6 version at one time, kinda like Traveler in some respects. Oh, and a system where you rolled first to hit something, then to see if you punctured it based on the body part and what armor may or may not be at that spot. and then damage. Was colorful, but one combat took a whole game night. Yawn
Look forward to seeing whatever you come up with... and, let me know via email when you are ready to release any new Bounty Hunter or other TME goodies so I can spread the news far and wide. Thanks so much for producing these, and let me know if you need anything. Have a great night, Will

I'll certainly shoot you an email. Actually got two cooking right now, one for low level encounter, the other is nebulous still, sorting out the parameters. Skullocks, but with more traps than I usually use.

A lot, thanks for checking! I just got caught up writing the stuff for my weekly game that I neglected to transfer everything I tested into a format for everyone else!
