Precognitive Reflexes [Prime Mutation]
Range: Personal
Usage: Once per rank, per day.
Duration: Instantaneous (and valid just for one attack)
When attacked the mutant gets a sudden flash of the incoming threat and act instinctively to dodge it. It's a sort of heightened sense of survival, anticipating and evading only the most lethal attacks. After getting hit by a particularly nasty blow, the player may announce that he was using precognitive reflexes (after the damage was rolled and all). His character is considered to have evade the attack as if the attacker had missed him. As usual, the GM is the final arbiter on any application of this power. It is usable only once per round.
Design Notes: I was tempted to make this power a DV buff but then I thought it would be much cooler to try to simulate the fact that a character was really able to "see it coming", to really see the future. The only way of doing that is to allow that future to happen (attack, damage and effects) and then ret-con it. I know it's a deterministic-type ability but since it's only once per rank per day and only useable once per round a character could easily burn all his use in just one fight. For my taste it's not so unbalanced compared to other major mutations. Also, I like the idea of certain mutations giving a character a better chance at surviving a combat

Gender Switching [Prime Mutation]
Range: Personal
Usage: *Roll 1d20 on the table below.
Duration: The user remains in the gender of his choice for as long as he likes.
The mutant has the unsettling ability to switch gender. Most mutants with this ability remains exactly the same size and shape, but there is a 25% chance of having sexual dimorphism, or a change in size and proportions between the genders. Start by generating the height and weight of the female version of the character. The male version will be +0.3 cm taller and +0.1 kg heavier, per point in Appearance, than their female version. The consequence of such an unsettling ability is manifold. The mutant have a 5% chance of having true hermaphrodism and capable of self-reproduction!
Gender Switching Type [1d20]
1: Uncontrollable! Have a 50% chance of happening during a time of stress. It takes 1d6 rounds!
2-10: Once per month
11-14: Once per week
15-17: Once per day
18-19: Once per hour
20: Once per minute
Design Note: I've decided to make Gender Switch a prime mutation after all, considering how useful it could be to a character and how strong is was compared to other minor mutations.
