That animal is the Feral Chihuahua. Haunting ruins and rubble in packs of 15 or more these beasts swarm their prey, while small, many such beasts can attack a lone victim at once, oftentimes overwhelming what should be a foe beyond their ability to take down. Always being held by their owners.. being fed from the table.. able to sleep on the bed.. Many of these dogs are made to be vicious and the owners don't realize they are doing it. It's not the size of the dog in the fight.. I could see it.

Hah! Puts me in mind of Tokyo Jungle (on the PS3) P.s. the Daily mail is a piece of absolute gosa over here - sensationalist, appealing to a demographic that over-50, xenophobic, hates scientific advances and anything different/popular with the younger crowd, and is generally mocked aplenty.
