New to this game, have about 30 years of exp with rpgs. So I was just wondering about being ambidextrous and if that increases the number of attacks you would get from martial arts or knife throwing. Figured we would get the official answer before we home rule it.

Hey blueice. Welcome to the forums! Sometimes a private message to the Mutant Lord can get a quicker response. Just in case he missed your post. I hope I'm not stepping on your toes; I've been trying to compile all references to the subject. I want to know the answer as well.
Ambidex: pg 16; Off-hand strikes (are normally) at -20. Can use 2 one handed weapons in each hand simultanously with no penalty. Knife Fighter: pg 45 If ambidex, can attack 4 times/rnd. 2 attk/arm. Monstrous Morph: pg 70 Can use one weapon in each hand as if ambidex. Ambidex & Parry: pg 108; ambidex get more than 1 attk/rnd. Unarmed Combat: pg 105; bottom left paragraph. Unless..person has multiple arms, he or she can (only) make one Brawling attk/rnd, doubling at Rank 7. Martial Arts: pg 56 MA skill allows.. 2 unarmed melee attacks with fists.. kicks, head butts, elbow strikes, knee attks.. and other (unarmed) assaults. Can divide attks against several melee opponents in the same rnd.
The last bit seems pertinant to your question. Does ambidex give any benefit in head butts, knee attacks, kicks, etc. or does it just relate to "off-hand"?

I'm forming a "GM's opinion", but it is no way official, of course. :-) I didn't find much related to throwing/missile weapons and ambidex.. Thanks for the topic, don't mean to butt in. I just enjoy talking about this stuff.
