Quick question about handing out experience to players. I didn't see specific mention of it in the rules, but I know in other games when you total up the experience points you then divide them amongst the players. In Mutant Epoch, when you get that total (say, the group earned 100 EF total) and there's five of them, do they each get 100 or 20?

Hey Robb_D20, I can only tell you what we do. I divide it among the group. Sometimes I give bonus points for plans, ideas and good roleplaying as individual perks, but I average EF for the group. PC's advance very rapidly in this game; at least for the first few Ranks.

Yeah they do! i had one character who was a sole survivor of an encounter and thus got all the EF for the day with the one character. He jumped from Rank 1 to 7 after the first day of game play. However when making this character we used the quick start character rules from the monthly compendium where you pick a set of stats and assign them were you want. Problem was that when we roled character type my player roled infiltraion bio-replicant and then we rolled those stats too and added them to the existing stats, which was wrong but i didnt catch it at the time of creation. Its an easy error to fix though all one needs to do is subtract the set stats away from the rolled ones to get your real stats. But after doing this we realized that all the characters died that day. This game is harsh in terms of combat and decision making, if your not on point when you make decisions in battle then you can die pretty frequently.
