Haven't statted this guy up yet...
Peacock Bat Flightless psychedelic carnivore, small to medium The peacock bat is a flightless bat that hunts primarily at dawn and dusk. The female of the species is a relatively harmless, drab creature, about the size of a large fox or coyote, that is omnivorous, preying on insects and lizards when it can. The male on the other hand, is strictly carnivorous and larger, about the size of an average wolf. While it cannot use them for flight, the wings of the male peacock bat are patterned on the interior side with strobing, bioluminescent optical illusions, which serve to hypnotize both mates and prey. When the male peacock bat displays its wings, anyone looking must make a successful Backbone check or be confused and paralyzed. Usually at this point any flanking bats rush in with their needle-sharp teeth. Peacock bats can be solitary or found in packs of two to twenty, with roughly half male and half female.
