Hi all,
The cost for starting ammo: Hub rule book (pg. 95) (*the cost is per round of ammo)
There is also some info in the Pitford Source book (pg. 58)
Allot of different factors come into play when dealing with relics. Supply and demand, location of purchase, Person selling, Person buying.
Biggest thing about ammo is the quality of the ammo. sucks to get a dud when in a firefight.
I would suggest to players to police their shell casings, makes it cheaper in the long run.
If the players have a home base, then have one or more of the pc's learn how to reload ammo.

Good answer and references. One of the players recently traded the single bullet they started with for a good set of clothes.

I like the idea of making the players police their shell casings, great idea! Someone with the gun smith skill and the chemical tech skill, given he/she has the right equipment, could easily make new bullets from the spent casings. The GM could also make an NPC that just gets rich off of the excavators by making bullets for them.
